Job summary

Hooper, a well-established electric power and mechanical contractor, seeks a Project Coordinator to support project managers by planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating preparations and executions of projects. The role emphasizes cost, quality, equipment utilization, and safety objectives within both office and field settings.

The candidate should have technical education in engineering or construction management, and experience in construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project management tasks including preparation of estimates, procuring materials, creating shop drawings, issuing subcontracts, and attending meetings.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, tools and supply needs.
• Establish project objectives, costs, timelines and safety standards; monitor adherence via site visits and reports.
• Manage administrative aspects of contracts (change orders, payments, rental equipment, billing) with staff and designers.
• Assist in releasing completed projects to clients and resolve closeout items.
