Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning and executing HVAC projects from conception through completion.

You will assist with scheduling, coordination of labor, materials, and equipment, and maintain project documentation, budgets, and client communications. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equiv. HVAC experience considered.
• 2–4 years in HVAC with some project coordination or management experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; proficient in MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning and coordinating HVAC project phases.
• Monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
• Maintain project documentation, change orders, permits, and inspection reports.
• Prepare reports, cost estimates, and client presentations.
