Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a Production Team Lead to build engineered HVAC units and lead a production cell to meet daily demand and schedules. You will train the department, ensuring safety and quality are maintained and standards are followed.

You will work with cross-functional teams, promote LEAN guidelines, and drive performance while maintaining build quality and effective communication with others. This role requires leadership, problem solving, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Manufacturing leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Build engineered HVAC equipment following standard work processes for a specified area and lead a work cell.
• Maintain team build standards and collaborate with other teams to meet them.
• Follow station-specific standards and processes.
• Document daily activities using takt tracker and station boards, and report timely.
• Collaborate with purchasing and materials personnel to ensure flow.
• Support improvement initiatives and work with safety, quality and engineering teams.
