Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in Lexington, KY seeks an engineer to guide development and implement product selection software changes for the Airside portfolio, including commercial air handlers and terminal products, to support field sales, pricing documents, and ordering.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and product management, perform data entry for enhancements, test updates, and help maintain monthly replication cycles while communicating clearly with internal staff and external

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
Experience in HVAC industry and/or software development is preferred.
Understanding of HVAC dynamics.
Aptitude to debug, learn and use custom software.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Actively monitor and track technical software changes and ensure timely updates.
Interface with engineering, operations and product management to gather data for new options.
Data entry for product enhancements and new development.
Complete extensive testing before releasing program updates to sales and customers.
Maintain a project schedule for all products and support monthly replication cycles.
Address questions from internal/external customers on technical specs.
