Job summary

Michael James Construction, Inc. seeks a Product Engineer to design and enhance HVAC products for both custom and standard lines.

You will optimize designs, support DFM/DFA, mentor CAD designers, and maintain documentation for all design processes and product specs. You will develop cost models, lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives, and resolve shop floor issues to keep production running.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
• 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing environments.
• SolidWorks required; DriveWorks and HVAC systems preferred.
• Experience with CAD, NPD, and project management.
• ERP familiarity and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve HVAC products for custom and standard lines.
• Optimize designs and support DFM/DFA processes.
