Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory; DriveWorks and HVAC experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD, NPD, and project management.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of single/three-phase power systems.
• Familiarity with DFM and DFA principles.
• Experience with FMEA.
• Background in low-volume, high-mix production environments.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve HVAC products for both custom and standard product lines.
• Optimize product designs and support DFM/DFA.
• Mentor and guide CAD designers.
• Maintain documentation for design processes and product specifications.
• Develop and analyze cost models for cost-effectiveness.
• Lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to enhance product value.
• Resolve issues arising on the shop floor to maintain seamless production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support New Product Development (NPD) and project management.
• Utilize SolidWorks and DriveWorks for design and modeling tasks.
• Apply knowledge of single/three-phase power systems, FMEA, and low-volume, high-mix production environments.
