Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10 years engineering experience, preferably in HVAC.
• Proven managerial experience, developing talent and coaching engineers.
• Working knowledge of Engineering Change Process (ECP) management.
• Experience with Phase Gate–controlled new product development.
• Technical knowledge of blower selection and application.
• Understanding of water- and electric-coil heat transfer principles.
• Sheet metal design experience with manufacturability considerations.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Excellent communication skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Engineering Change Process (ECP) for assigned product lines.
• Lead cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives to improve COGS.
• Apply DFMA principles to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.
• Support sustaining engineering through root-cause investigations and reliability improvements.
• Lead cross-functional New Product Development through a Phase Gate process.
• Develop engineering talent and coach senior team members.
• Partner across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales, and leadership to align priorities.
