Job summary

United Mechanical, based in Alameda, seeks a Preventive Maintenance Specialist to own and optimize our commercial HVAC preventive maintenance agreements. You will manage renewals, pricing, and scope adjustments while maintaining strong customer relationships and driving profitability.

You will coordinate with service leadership, field teams, and Account Managers to ensure accurate documentation, timely communications, and effective service delivery across the PMA portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial HVAC service or maintenance operations.
• Experience with service agreements, renewals, or account concerns.
• Experience reviewing service documentation and scopes.
• Experience using business systems to review service records and accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance agreements, renewals, pricing, and scope changes.
• Engage customers and conduct in-person account check-ins before price increases.
• Evaluate maintenance, repairs, and call work orders for profitability.
• Resolve pricing concerns and escalations with leadership.
• Verify equipment and maintenance requirements during site visits.
• Coordinate with technicians and Account Managers on communications and needs.
• Provide backup support for agreement setup, scheduling, and billing discrepancies.
