Trane Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Preconstruction Developer serving the Upstate New York area. You will be supporting one of the most challenging and fastest growing career fields, Trane Technologies Energy Services.

This role includes working with internal teams and customers to identify and develop turnkey design-build contracting projects, including scope of work development, cost estimating, and proposal support as part of an industry leading Energy Services Company

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Project management and/or HVACR-related work experience.
• Working knowledge of construction facets including mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and discusses turnkey HVAC solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collects data to assemble turnkey project scope and estimates.
• Analyzes plans and specs to compile detailed cost estimates.
• Supports budget development and RFQ preparation with scope, milestones, specs.
• Prices subcontracted work and purchased equipment with accuracy.
• Communicates with customers and subcontractors on estimate changes.
• Develops and maintains subcontractor relations and bid support.
