Job summary

Bergen Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc. is seeking a Shop Clerk to support daily shop operations by receiving, organizing, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment.

You will help keep technicians and project teams supplied and prepared for daily work in a practical, safety-minded environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and willing to learn the plumbing and HVAC supply environment, with basic computer skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of warehouse, inventory, purchasing, shipping/receiving, or construction support experience preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction, distribution, or skilled trades environment preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and email.
• Ability to learn inventory, purchasing, and dispatch/ERP software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to take direction.
• Ability to learn plumbing materials, parts, and supply processes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, track, and distribute materials, tools, parts, and equipment.
• Support technicians, installers, and project teams with supplies.
• Learn and navigate inventory, purchasing, and dispatch processes.
