Job summary

Tribute Companies is seeking an HVAC/Plumbing Foreman with multi-family housing and light commercial construction experience to lead field crews and coordinate subs at project sites in NC. You will ensure safe, cost-effective execution of mechanical trades.

This full-time role requires travel, frequent overtime with 1.5x pay, and a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery. A company vehicle and competitive benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, hire, and manage qualified labor and material suppliers.

• Conduct material take-offs to determine required supplies.

Location: Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, NC, and assigned project locations
Pay: $25-$30 per hour, based on relevant experience and skills
Job Type: Full-time (frequent overtime, 1.5x pay opportunities)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC/Plumbing Foreman with experience in multi-family housing and light commercial construction. This role is primarily focused on ensuring all plumbing and mechanical aspects of construction projects are completed as quickly and cost-effectively as possible, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting in the identification, vetting, hiring, and termination of qualified labor and material suppliers.
• Attending onsite preconstruction meetings to facilitate coordination between all subcontractors.

• Conducting quality control inspections of work, especially focused early on during construction, to ensure work is being performed according to code, safely, in a timely manner, and with minimal waste of materials.
• Ensuring that all work adheres to safety standards and project requirements.
• Attending, or coordinating with a qualified representative to attend, all necessary inspections.Working proactively to accelerate progress where possible while maintaining high quality standards and safety compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and current insurance are required.
• This position requires travel. The company will cover eligible travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, and meals, in accordance with company policy.
• Frequent overtime opportunities
• Flexibility to work some weekends/evenings and to travel when needed.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, walk, bend, climb, sit, and stand.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish language skills are preferred.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Projects, Excel, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Pay

The pay for this opportunity can vary and may range anywhere from $25 to $30 per hour. The base compensation rate will vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location, as applicable.
