Job summary

Tribute Companies is seeking an HVAC/Plumbing Foreman with multi-family housing and light commercial construction experience to lead field crews and coordinate subs at project sites in NC. You will ensure safe, cost-effective execution of mechanical trades.

This full-time role requires travel, frequent overtime with 1.5x pay, and a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery. A company vehicle and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and current insurance required.
• Willingness to travel; travel expenses covered by company.
• Frequent overtime opportunities.
• Flexibility to work weekends/evenings and travel as needed.
• Fluency in English; Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, hire, and manage qualified labor and material suppliers.
• Attend onsite preconstruction meetings to coordinate subcontractors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering in designs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Conduct material take-offs to determine required supplies.
• Operate hand and power tools and perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks as needed.
• Coordinate material deliveries to jobsite or storage facility.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure code compliance, safety, timeliness, and minimal waste.
• Ensure work adheres to safety standards and project requirements.
• Attend inspections or coordinate with a qualified rep as needed to accelerate progress while maintaining quality.
