Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a knowledgeable Counter Sales Associate for our Brookshire, TX location. You will advise HVAC and plumbing customers at the counter, answer calls and emails, and guide them to the right parts and solutions to support their projects.

Qualifications

0–3 years of experience in customer service or sales.
HVAC and/or plumbing product knowledge preferred.
Bilingual is a plus.
Strong communication skills for consultative selling and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Engage customers proactively at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand their needs and recommend solutions.
Serve as a product expert by learning plumbing, HVAC and related products to guide customer decisions.
Drive sales growth by upsell, cross-sell, and promoting strategic products and programs.
Utilize catalogs and computer systems to locate parts and provide accurate, timely information.
Process transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and a positive customer experience.
Collaborate with Outside Sales Associates to support account growth and deliver seamless service.
Manage special orders and follow up on order status, back-orders, and delivery timelines.
Maintain a professional, organized counter environment reflecting quality and service.
Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock organization.
Adhere to all safety regulations including PPE requirements.
