Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking an HVAC Parts Store Manager for our Austin location to drive sales and profit through parts store operations. You will set inventory levels, price inventory, and oversee marketing, parts sales, and customer service within budget.

The role requires managing a team, optimizing processes, and coordinating with district leadership to achieve business objectives. Onsite at the store in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years related experience; including 2-4+ years of commercial HVAC or related sales experience.
• Previous management experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in parts identification and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sale of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies; over the phone and in person.
• Plan and implement operational policies and goals.
• Motivate staff to reach revenue and profit goals.
• Coordinate with leaders to maintain processes and contribute to new standards.
• Work with the District Manager to assign staff responsibilities.
• Provide technical support and researching options to meet customer needs; process orders and warranty issues.
• Determine inventory mix based on current and future market needs.
• Manage inventory and conduct weekly cycle counts and annual audits.
• Process customer orders promptly and accurately.
• Research market to competitively price inventory while maintaining profit margins.
• Manage operations and scheduling of assigned staff.
