Job summary

Jobot is hiring an HVAC Parts & Operations Coordinator for our Newport News, VA location. You’ll help manage day-to-day operations, support contractors and customers, and coordinate quotes, orders, and sourcing of equipment and replacement parts.

Ideal candidates have experience in HVAC distribution or related fields, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting a growing branch.

Qualifications

• Experience within HVAC distribution or related industry.
• Background in parts, customer service, order management, purchasing, or branch support.
• Experience preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating with vendors.
• Familiarity with commercial HVAC equipment and replacement parts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and wear multiple hats.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Newport News location.
• Serve as primary contact for contractors and customers.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and source HVAC equipment/parts.
• Coordinate purchasing, vendors, inventory, shipping, and deliveries.
• Track orders and resolve product, warranty, and delivery issues.
• Maintain branch organization and product availability; communicate with customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and outside sales to move projects.
• Train and support additional branch staff as the location grows.
• Take on additional branch responsibilities as the business expands.
