Job summary

ECS Comfort Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing seeks an experienced HVAC Comfort Advisor / Outside Sales Representative to evaluate homeowner needs and present heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions. You will work with company-generated opportunities and collaborate with service, installation, and operations teams to ensure a smooth sale from initial appointment through installation.

Ideal candidates have in-home sales or HVAC experience, strong communication, and the ability to close

Qualifications

• HVAC/home improvement or in-home sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able to present options and close deals with homeowners.
• Self-motivated with strong follow-up and organization.
• Familiar with CRM systems and digital sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to evaluate HVAC replacement and comfort needs.
• Assess existing equipment and discuss comfort, efficiency, and budget priorities.
• Recommend appropriate heating, cooling, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Present equipment, financing, warranty, and installation options clearly.
• Prepare accurate proposals and explain recommendations to homeowners.
• Follow up consistently on open estimates and pending decisions.
• Coordinate with service, installation, and operations teams after the sale.
• Maintain accurate customer notes, proposals, and sales activity.
• Stay current on equipment, products, financing programs, and promotions.
• Deliver a professional customer experience throughout the sales process.

ECS Comfort is looking for an experienced HVAC Comfort Advisor / Outside Sales Representative to help homeowners evaluate replacement options and choose the right heating and cooling solutions for their homes.

You’ll work primarily with company-generated opportunities and be backed by experienced service technicians, installers, customer service, and operations teams. That means you can focus on understanding the homeowner’s needs, presenting the right options, and creating a smooth transition from the initial appointment through installation.

ECS Comfort is continuing to grow, creating an opportunity for a motivated sales professional to build their earnings while playing an important role in the company’s continued success.
