Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is hiring an HVAC Outside Sales Representative to generate business and maintain client relationships across the Boston area.

You will identify prospects, discuss HVAC needs, present estimates, and close sales, driving growth while traveling regionally to meet customers’ needs. The role requires 3+ years of outside HVAC sales experience, deep HVAC knowledge, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to learn rebate programs and local permitting requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years successful outside sales experience in HVAC.
• Excellent knowledge of and command of HVAC technology.
• Able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of US driving experience.
• Able to learn about state and local rebate programs.
• Able to learn about local permitting requirements for HVAC installation.
• Customer focused and able to relate to all personalities.
• Competitive, hardworking, and responsible.
• Results oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform outside sales activities sourcing, meeting with and closing residential and light commercial HVAC customers.
• Follow up with potential customers via email, text, and phone to generate new leads.
• Consult with customers to provide customized HVAC system solutions.
• Create accurate sales estimates using vendor pricing and templates.
• Independently complete the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on rebates and incentives tied to energy-efficient systems.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and support corporate efforts.
