Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks an experienced Outside Sales Representative for the Heat & Ventilation Division in Omaha, NE. You will own end-to-end selling, targeting existing and new accounts to grow market share.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in sales or related field, 3+ years in electrical distribution sales, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency with MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales or closely related field required.
• 3+ years of relevant sales and electrical distribution experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to present and promote products to customers.
• Knowledge of industrial/commercial/contractor markets.
• Excellent problem analysis and relationship-building abilities.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Makes personal sales calls at customer establishments on a regular basis, seeking opportunities and new leads.
• Promotes and demonstrates new products and resources to customers.
• Coordinates secured orders with Inside Sales for entry, tracking and fulfillment.
• Manages account base and new opportunities to maximize sales and gross margins.
• Keeps interactions timely, ethical, and professional; maintains a clean vehicle.
