Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, seeks an experienced Outside Sales Representative focused on the Heat and Ventilation Division in the Omaha, NE region. The candidate will own end-to-end selling, drive growth among target accounts and develop new business.

You will engage customer establishments with personal sales calls, promote new products, coordinate orders with Inside Sales, and build strong relationships with branch staff and customers. Shift: Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales or closely related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• At least two years of electrical or distribution experience and product knowledge.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the industrial/commercial/contractor market.
• Proven problem analysis and resolution abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Proficiency with a PC and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Makes personal sales calls at customer establishments regularly to seek new opportunities and leads.
• Introduces, promotes and demonstrates new products and resources to customers.
• Coordinates orders with Inside Sales for entry, tracking and fulfillment, expediting as needed.
• Manages account base and new opportunities to maximize sales and gross margin.
• Executes sales efforts in a timely, ethical, and professional manner and maintains a clean vehicle.
• Develops working relationships with Inside Sales and Counter Sales personnel and supports training.
• Maintains ethical relationships with manufacturers in line with company goals.
• Monitors job queues and troubleshoots items; proactively solves problems.
