One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning - A Growing HVAC Startup in Seattle, WA is seeking a Lead HVAC Technician/Operations Manager to lead field operations and oversee backend processes.

This hybrid role blends hands-on service with dispatch, logistics, inventory, training, and customer success; report to the Owner; requires 5+ years residential HVAC experience, EPA 608, and valid WA license; salary range $100,000–$150,000 with 401(k) match and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable, hands-on residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
• WA Electrical License 06A (preferred).
• Seattle Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License (preferred).
• WA Driver's License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the field and oversee backend operations.
• Hybrid role: hands-on HVAC work plus operations leadership (dispatch, logistics, inventory, training, scheduling, customer success).
• Report directly to the Owner and help scale the business from the ground up.
• Oversee daily field operations and technician dispatching.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex residential HVAC service and installations.
• Manage inventory, parts orders, fleet, tools, and job costing.
• Mentor junior techs and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and team training.
