Nextech, America's largest HVAC/R service provider, is seeking an HVAC Operations Manager to lead the service department and our HVAC technicians. You will organize, direct, and coordinate service activities to deliver outstanding customer service and brand recognition.

The role requires a strong HVAC/R technical background, 7+ years of management experience, and exceptional communication. This is a high-energy, fast-paced leadership position within a nationwide team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management experience in HVAC contracting or building-related services.
• O6A license required.
• HVAC/R technical background.
• Strong communication and quality management principles.
• Experience with management and conflict resolution.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full financial operations for the service dept.
• Review PMs, CINB, SLA and P&L reports with the team.
• Handle customer escalation calls and provide solutions.
• Ensure monthly/quarterly/yearly goals are met.
• Manage SLAs with current and new clients.
• Recruit, hire, and develop service operations staff.
• Develop training plans for the service support team.
• Deliver goals and metrics for the group.
• Conduct annual reviews.
• Identify improvements and communicate them.
• QA on work performed at customer facilities.
• Cover for absent tier-2 managers.
• Create and send weekly activity schedule to VP Ops.

What You'll Be Doing

The HVAC/R Service Operations Manager will oversee the operations of the service department as well as HVAC Technicians. In this role, the candidate will work directly with the team to support staff, organize, direct, coordinate and control service activities to achieve outstanding customer service & brand recognition. The ideal candidate will have previous HVAC Technical experience, high-energy, and be an effective communicator. This position is critical to the development of our operational team & quality of support we provide to our customers.

Min CompensationUSD $110,000.00/Yr.

Max CompensationUSD $135,000.00/Yr.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full financial for operations
• Review company reports such as PMs, CINB, SLA and P&L and share with team
• Take calls for customer escalation issues & being able to provide a solution
• Ensure company goals are met monthly/quarterly/yearly
• Manage all Service-Level Agreements (SLA) with current/new clients
• Recruit, hire, and develop service operations team
• Develop training plan for service support team
• Delivery of goals and metrics for assigned group
• Evaluate and perform annual reviews
• Identify and communicate where improvements can be utilized
• Quality assurance on all work performed at customer facilities
• Cover in absence of the next level managers
• Create, communicate, and send weekly activity schedule to VP of Operations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Management experience for an HVAC contracting business or building-related services company
• O6A License Required
• Have an HVAC/R Technical Background
• Understanding of the principles of quality management with respect to effective communication
• Experience with management and conflict resolution
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt to very fast-paced environment and deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Advanced Microsoft Office and computer literacy
