Qualifications

• Accurate and detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical trades and construction processes.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate requests for estimates and project quotes.
• Prepare weekly bid calendar and ensure timely completion of estimates.
• Prepare and review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
• Create job folders.
• Input take-offs of construction documents.
• Review construction documents and understand scope of work to bid.
• Obtain pricing for materials and bids from subcontractors.
• Make an estimate where predetermined standards are not available.
• Inform supervisor of inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or database.
• Maintain estimating procedures and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors.
