Job summary

Blue Ridge Executive Search is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to head our mechanical estimate group for projects in the Greater New York City Area. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing trades and practices.

The Mechanical Chief Estimator oversees the direction of an estimating team, develops and implements estimating business plans, and manages the cost estimate deliverable from initial client meeting through final client acceptance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• Understanding and working knowledge of New York contracting Agencies.
• Experience pricing scopes of work using man-hours and crews.
• At least 10 years in estimating, planning, or cost engineering on HVAC/Plumbing projects.
• Experience leading the development of estimates from inception to completion.
