Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC seeks an HVAC Design Engineer in Orange County to review contract requirements and collaborate with project teams. You will help ensure client satisfaction in early project phases and contribute to business development with general contractors and owners.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of HVAC design experience, and licensure (PE). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and related tools is required.

We are a large growing mechanical contractor in Orange County that works on many of California’s biggest and best mechanical projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits. We are planning to hire California’s best and brightest HVAC Design Engineers in the near future.

Responsibilities

• Review all contract project requirements.
• Working closely with engineer, architects, and other disciples.
• Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
• Business development with existing and prospect general contractors and owners.
• Review project specs and identify value engineering opportunities to present to our clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, PE License Required.
• 5+years of HVAC and Design experience.
• Strong knowledge in: AutoCAD, Microsoft office, Autodesk Fabrication, TraneTrace 700, Revit, BlueBeam, and Navisworks.
• Local to Orange County.
• Stable work-history.
