Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience on large HVAC commercial projects, ranging from 50k to $30M.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, Construction Management knowledge preferred.
• Strong software knowledge: Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, Trane Trace 700, Revit.

HVAC Engineer position at large mechanical and plumbing construction company

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
• Review all contract project design, engineering design, for accurate calculations.
• Work closely with general contractors and owners as well as other sub-contractors and mep-design engineers.
• Review project specs and identify value engineering opportunities to present to our clients.
• Ability to commute to different jobsites, and assist the Project Manager in managing large HVAC construction projects.

Requirements:

• Local
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar in Construction Management is preferred.
• 3+years of field experience on large HVAC commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M.
• Strong software knowledge in Microsoft Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication, Trane Trace 700, Revit, among others are a plus.
• Knowledge in State building and HVAC, among others are a plus.
