Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an HVAC Engineer to maintain guest rooms, meeting spaces and back-of-house systems, reading blueprints and troubleshooting building equipment. Candidates should have at least 2 years of hotel maintenance experience, EPA 608 certification, ability to lift 75 lbs, and knowledge of DDC/BAS operations; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Starting rate is $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Open availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification required.
• Electrical troubleshooting on 120V–480V equipment.
• Must read blueprints and schematics; life-safety system knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms, meeting spaces and back-of-house areas.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Starting rate: $28.00 per hour

An HVAC Engineer must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house (including kitchen, electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R systems, and using a windows-based computer system). Ability to read blueprints and schematics are also required. A minimum of 2 years building maintenance experience is requested, with hotel experience preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems and life-safety systems is required. Must have EPA Section 608 Universal certification.
