Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a Maintenance professional to ensure the facility is properly maintained and HVAC/refrigeration systems are serviced efficiently. You will be part of the Emergency Response Team, responding to safety concerns and medical calls while maintaining logs and reporting hazards.

The role emphasizes professional guest service, adherence to grooming guidelines, and collaboration with a heartist team to provide excellent experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service HVAC and refrigeration equipment for the facility.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the Emergency Response Team.
• Keep a daily activity maintenance log and report health and safety hazards.
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Engineering Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility
• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
• Maintain and service refrigeration & HVAC equipment for facility
• Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
• Maintain all actions in a daily activity maintenance log
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Maintenance role required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful
• Must have EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
• Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines.
• Relevant building HVAC experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
