Southcoast Health is seeking an HVAC Mechanic Associate for St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. The role focuses on routine predictive and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure safe, reliable patient care environments.
You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and test equipment while following hospital standards and safety protocols. A High School diploma and Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification are required, with hospital/industrial HVAC experience preferred.

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities, or designee, perform routine predictive &preventive maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) throughout the facilities. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning HVAC equipment and systems. Make repairs, calibrate, and functionally test equipment and systems. Recommend solutions for necessary corrective action.
