Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to support our commercial construction crews in Virginia. You will assist with HVAC installations on sites ranging from K-12 to healthcare, fabricating ductwork, setting up equipment, and reading drawings.

This role emphasizes mentorship of helpers and apprentices, reliability to see projects through, and a strong safety mindset. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with vocational training preferred; valid driver's license

The Role:

The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for assisting the job site crew with the installation of HVAC systems that bring the building to life. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.

What You'll Do:

• Thorough knowledge and experience of HVAC system installs in commercial construction environments
• Ability to fabricate and install duct work
• Ability to set and hook up equipment
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
• Must be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
