Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to assist on commercial construction projects across Virginia and surrounding areas. The role focuses on installing HVAC systems, fabricating duct work, and setting up equipment for diverse K-12, university, and healthcare facilities.

You will read construction drawings, mentor helpers and apprentices, and ensure safe, reliable project delivery from start to finish. A valid driver’s license and physical readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge and experience of HVAC system installs in commercial construction environments.
• Ability to fabricate and install duct work.
• Ability to set and hook up equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational school or prior training preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols.

The Role:

The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for assisting the job site crew with the installation of HVAC systems that bring the building to life. Job sites will vary amongst commercial projects throughout the area. Projects will mainly consist of K-12, University, and Healthcare buildings.

What You'll Do:
