Lynwood Unified School District seeks a skilled HVAC Mechanic to perform installation, repair, maintenance, and upgrading of HVAC systems for district facilities.
The role reports to a designated administrator and requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years related experience. Valid CA Driver's license is required; DMV records will be checked upon offer. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

FULL-TIME POSITION: EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY; TWELVE (12) MONTHS PER YEAR.
The job of HVAC Mechanic is done for the purpose/s of providing HVAC services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job site.
This job reports to Designated Administrator.
It is the responsibility of the employee to ensure that all licenses and certifications required for this position are up-to-date to remain in the position.
This position will require an Official Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving history report UPON OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT. The DMV record must be dated within the last thirty (30) days of the employment processing period. The Official Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) driving history report will be required UPON OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT. You must go in-person to a DMV office to request your official driving record. This is the ONLY way to obtain this official document. A DMV record obtained via the internet or online will NOT be accepted.
