Job summary
Tidewater Community College is seeking an HVAC Supervisor to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across four campuses in Hampton Roads. Based at the Suffolk District Office, the role requires strong technical leadership and strict adherence to safety and codes.
The supervisor provides administrative oversight, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures cost-effective operation.
Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of maintenance, repair, and replacement of HVAC equipment.
- Ability to supervise a team of skilled technicians and work independently.
- Experience with control systems, boilers, chillers, and related components.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and operate all required equipment safely.
- Virginia Driver’s License and relevant trade certifications required.
