The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The position provides technical and administrative supervision to HVAC staff, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, policies, and established standards. The HVAC Supervisor coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, responds to operational needs, manages resources, and supports the reliable and cost-effective operation of HVAC systems and related equipment.
This position is based at the District Office located in Suffolk, VA. However, work will occur at all four TCC locations in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach.
This position is designated as essential. The employee may be required to report to work or otherwise fulfill the responsibilities of the position during a college/campus closure resulting from weather, emergency, or other emergent conditions.
