Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. in Sanford, NC is seeking a Maintenance Tech III to perform preventive and reparative maintenance on production equipment, supported by CMMS systems, and to ensure safety and compliance on the shop floor.

Qualifications
- 5 years minimum of cumulative experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with preventive, corrective, and testing maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
- Experience with CMMS and PLCs.
- Open to overtime to support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on process equipment per CMMS.
- Respond to work orders and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Safely perform duties including lockout/tagout and PPE usage.
- Prepare and complete assigned tasks per supervisor procedures.
- Perform reparative maintenance on production equipment.
- Work independently and may train other technicians.
- May support weekend/holiday plant shutdowns as required.
