Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Boonville, MO is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician IV for 2nd/3rd or weekend shifts. The role focuses on proactive PMs, energy-efficient machine operation, and rapid troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities include log-out/log-out procedures, PLC/robot controls diagnostics, and installation of new manufacturing equipment. A related degree or six years of experience is preferred; on-site training and overtime opportunities

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six years related experience and/or training.
• Safety-focused with strong dependability and teamwork.
• Experience with three-phase electrical systems and motors; able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic principles; able to interpret blueprints and PLC/robotic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Utilize PM to proactively control machine up/down time.
• Organize and document lockout/tagout procedures.
• Manage oil analysis program for required equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC controls and robotic systems using ladder diagrams.
• Install new manufacturing equipment and support commissioning.
