Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an entry-level HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform precision tune-ups and routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at customer locations. You will assist skilled technicians, handle parts delivery, and document job details using a handheld device.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with HVAC training and 0–2 years’ experience, plus EPA and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC entry-level training and 0–2+ years’ experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant and duct systems.
• Proficient with operating HVAC tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine precision tune-ups and maintenance on HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Inspect and perform limited diagnostics to identify problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment; assist service technician.
• Record required information on handheld device; complete forms neatly and accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch and provide status updates while on duty.
• Promote products and services to customers and respond to replacement sales leads.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are properly stocked and accounted for.
• Represent the company professionally and follow standard procedures.
