Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for Lexington, SC. You will perform precision tune-ups, maintenance, and diagnostics on HVAC equipment and related accessories under supervision.

You will document work using a handheld device, communicate with dispatch, and ensure customer satisfaction while promoting services and parts as appropriate. On-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0 to 2 years’ HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/refrigerant/duct issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance calls on HVAC equipment and accessories with accuracy.
• Inspect and diagnose equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Assist service technicians and manage parts delivery/removal as needed.
• Record service data using a handheld device and complete paperwork neatly.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to provide status and resolve issues.
• Promote products and services to customers and relay replacement leads to sales.
