Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform precision tune-ups and routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and accessories. You will inspect systems, perform limited diagnostics, and assist customers by answering questions and promoting our products and services.

Under general supervision, you’ll support service calls, record information, and help ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0-2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferred.
EPA and safety certifications required.
Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and ability to read wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Performs routine maintenance and precision tune-ups on HVAC equipment and accessories.
Inspects and performs limited diagnostics to identify problems.
Records all required information on a handheld device and completes paperwork accurately.
Delivers and removes parts/equipment needed for service work and assists other technicians.
Communicates with dispatch to provide status updates and coordinate calls.
Promotes products and services to customers and seeks replacement leads.
Maintains company property, vehicles, and tools in good condition and properly accounted for.
