Brethren Village Retirement Community, in Lititz, PA, is seeking a reliable HVAC / Maintenance Technician with commercial HVAC and plumbing experience, for full-time employment .
Brethren Village offers our Maintenance staff primarily daytime work hours, Monday through Friday, plus full benefits coverage.
The HVAC / Maintenance Technician will work with our talented Maintenance team to help keep Brethren Village's commercial and residential systems, equipment, and appliances operating effectively, efficiently, and safely. The Maintenance Technician will repair and maintain facilities, equipment, and appliances in Residents' apartments; in our healthcare facilities; in our commercial kitchens; in mechanical rooms and the central utility plant.
The HVAC / Maintenance Technician will consistently interact with our older adult Residents, co-workers, and managers in a polite, friendly, and helpful manner.
At least 3 years of related work experience in a professional setting, including commercial HVAC and plumbing experience, is required.
A valid PA driver's license is required, as well as a driving record free from excessive or serious violation, and verification of personal auto insurance.
Maintenance Techs. must be able to stand and walk frequently during an 8-hour shift; bend and kneel while working; climb ladders; work safely with tools and equipment; work outdoors in all weather conditions; assist with snow and ice removal; lift and push carts and similar items.
