Job summary

Tipping Hat is part of the nation's largest plumbing, heating and air conditioning service provider seeking HVAC Maintenance Technicians in the Denver area. You will diagnose, repair and service HVAC systems while delivering customer-focused support.

A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and ongoing training is expected. We offer a competitive pay range of $50,000 - $80,000 per year depending on performance, a take-home vehicle with gas card, company cell phone and tablet, robust benefits,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and address HVAC concerns and present options.
• Perform service repairs to a high proficiency level.
• Follow diagnostic procedures when servicing and repairing equipment.
• Acquire necessary tools to perform professional HVAC service.
• Complete documentation, explain guarantees and collect payments.
• Attend weekly training meetings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and address the customer’s HVAC concerns and present options to customers
• Successfully perform all service repairs at a high proficiency level to customer satisfaction.
• Understand and follow proper diagnostic procedures when servicing and repairing equipment
• Acquire necessary tools to perform professional HVAC service
• Completes all required documentation on services, explains guarantees/warranties and collects, records and delivers fees to the office
• Attend weekly training meetings

Qualifications

What do you need

• A high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred in residential HVAC Service
• EPA Certificate
• Attention to detail
• Valid Driver’s license, excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
• Must be able to lift or carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds to include duct work, furnaces or materials
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen and MVR check
