Job summary

Southwest Allen County Schools is seeking an HVAC technician for a 12-month position with full benefits. The role involves performing maintenance and repairs on district HVAC systems to ensure safe and efficient operation across all buildings.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of HVAC experience, formal training, and required certifications (CFC Universal, Backflow Prevention). Applicants must hold a valid driver's license for district-wide travel and be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC preferred.
• Formal training and experience servicing and repairing large HVAC equipment.
• Certifications: CFC Universal and Backflow Prevention Device.
• Valid driver's license to travel districtwide.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Knowledge of IOSHA safety rules and standards.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
