Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in Illinois. The role involves coaching a crew, performing preventive maintenance on hotel and casino facilities, and leading safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled for GED completion within 6 months of start date.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Associate’s Degree in business, mechanical or electrical discipline or related field required (or 2 years supervisory experience).
• Must have at least 7 years of commercial property experience in maintaining or repairing buildings or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as working supervisor; leads and coaches crew by example; performs maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Ensures safety of personnel and conducts regular safety meetings.
• Develops, schedules, and controls a preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment.
• Interviews, hires, trains employees; plans, assigns, directs work; evaluates performance.
• Prepares weekly work schedules and adjusts to meet business demands.
• Supervises maintenance electrical and mechanical operations and inspects workmanship and safety.
