Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor IV (HVAC) to lead HVAC maintenance at Kerrville State Hospital. You will supervise staff, oversee chillers, boilers, and automated controls, and ensure life-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Vocational HVAC training and at least five years of HVAC experience.
• Seven years in HVAC with four years supervising others.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification within six months of employment.
• Texas HVAC registration preferred; valid Texas driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Oversees calibration, inspections and preventive maintenance of chillers, boilers and controls.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinates with facilities leadership and manages after-hours callouts as needed.
