Job summary

A and L Heating and Air LLC in Maryville, TN, is seeking an HVAC Maintenance - Service Technician to perform service and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems.

The role offers a take-home company vehicle, gas card, uniform, device reimbursements, spiffs and bonuses, and company-paid training. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional overtime and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience in residential and/or commercial settings.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• NATE Certification with training provided by the company.
• Routine maintenance experience on HVAC systems.
• Basic sheet metal experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• HVAC trade school certification is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial systems.
• Diagnose issues and clearly explain repair solutions to customers.
• Consult with customers on indoor air quality products, system upgrades, and annual maintenance plans.
• Provide year-round HVAC service, troubleshooting, and maintenance support.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager on training needs, inventory management, and pricing strategies.

HVAC Maintenance - Service Technician | $28.00 to $35.00 per hour

Hourly pay + spiffs and bonuses - annual potential earning $100,000 +

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm | Occasional overtime

• Delivered excellent customer service and client care by diagnosing issues and explaining repair solutions clearly
• Consulted with customers on indoor air quality products, system upgrades, and annual maintenance plans
• Provided year-round HVAC service, troubleshooting, and maintenance support
• Read and interpreted wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for accurate system diagnostics and repairs
• Collaborated with the Service Manager to provide feedback on technical training needs, inventory management, and retail pricing strategies
