Job summary

A&L Heating and Air LLC in Maryville, TN, is seeking an HVAC Installer to join a family-owned team. The role involves installing residential and light commercial heating and air systems, including ductwork, and starting up new equipment. You may lead crews during peak periods and will receive in-house training for NATE and EPA certifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems and ductwork.
• Handle ducted and ductless installations and start up new equipment.
• Lead an install team/crew when needed.
• Follow city and county installation codes and read blueprints.

HVAC Installer | $29.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on skill level

Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | Some Saturdays during peak season

Job Duties:

• Installing residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems, accessories, and ductwork
• Some new construction - residential and light commercial
• Installations include ducted and ductless equipment
• Start up of new equipment
• Ability or experience to leading an install team/crew
• In-house paid training for NATE and EPA Certifications with an in-house proctor

Qualifications:

• 3 + years of HVAC Installation experience
• Lead install experience
• Proficient at residential and light commercial functional design and installations
• Residential new construction experience desired
• EPA Universal Certification
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment
• Solid understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to read and follow blue prints and diagrams
• Correctly size, install, insulate, and seal ductwork
• Knowledge of and ability to follow city and county installation codes
• Excellent customer relation skills and open mind to think outside the box
• Valid driver's license and Insurable driving record
• HVAC Certification from trade school desired

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
