Mountain Heating and Cooling in Bozeman, MT is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician. You will diagnose, service, and repair residential and select light commercial systems, and perform annual maintenance. The role requires EPA certification and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience.
• Residential service experience required.
• Experience with RTU service and maintenance preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Proven ability to diagnose issues and recommend repair or replacement.
• Low voltage license or willingness to obtain within 2 years of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Completion of HVAC technical school program preferred.

HVAC Service Technician - Experienced | $35.00 to $45.00 per hour

Pay is based on experience + Spiffs / bonuses

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday | 7:30am to 4:30pm

Job Duties:

• Diagnostics, service, and repair on residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Providing annual routine maintenance
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Consulting with customers regarding repair, upgrades, and replacement options
• Communication with clients on annual maintenance program and indoor air quality products that fit customers' needs

• Experience with RTU (rooftop unit) service and routine maintenance preferred
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Proven ability to diagnose issues and make repair or replacement recommendations
• Low voltage license, or willingness to obtain within 2 years of employment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
• Completion of an HVAC technical school program preferred
