Job summary

The Adecco Group is recruiting a Maintenance Sales Representative for the DMV market to develop new business and grow recurring revenue through HVAC maintenance agreements. This full-time, field-based role focuses on prospecting, building relationships with decision-makers, and closing maintenance contracts across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Training is provided to learn HVAC systems, with a base salary of $80,000–$90,000 plus uncapped commission.

Qualifications

• Proven success in outside B2B sales, territory development, or new business acquisition is demonstrated.
• Strong prospecting and business development with ability to build and manage a pipeline.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing abilities.
• Experience selling to commercial decision-makers across multiple organizational levels.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a field-based schedule.
• Ability to learn commercial HVAC systems and maintenance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field-based sales activities.
• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
• Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, building engineers, and executive decision-makers.
• Conduct site visits and assess commercial HVAC maintenance opportunities.
• Prepare, present, negotiate, and close customized maintenance agreement proposals.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery by communicating customer expectations and contract scope.
• Collaborate with Service, Operations, Dispatch, and Project Management teams to support onboarding.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, customer, and sales activity records within Salesforce.
• Consistently achieve or exceed established sales goals.
