Job summary

GVEC is seeking an HVAC Lead Installation Technician to lead an installation team, deliver quality workmanship, and stay up to date on new technologies. You will supervise on-site installations, train team members, and ensure safety and high standards in every project.

Responsibilities include coordinating with customers and other managers, managing tools and inventory, and delivering installations on schedule while maintaining exceptional service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy HVAC equipment and work outdoors.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team oriented with openness to feedback and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation team and subcontractors on site.
• Train new team members.
• Ensure HVAC installations meet safety and technical standards.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure a superior installation experience.
• Communicate with HVAC and other department managers as needed.
• Monitor inventory and tools; ensure proper maintenance.
• Coordinate staff, contractors and materials to complete installs on time.
