Job summary

CoolToday is seeking HVAC Lead Installers in Florida to join a team focused on delivering top customer service. Lead Installers educate customers on options, replace HVAC equipment, and install add-on accessories while ensuring compliance with local and national codes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with refrigeration function and theory; diagnose and replace HVAC components.
• Type II EPA Certification is required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Basic hand tools required (wrenches, screwdrivers, duct tools, etc.).
• Testing equipment: refrigerant gauges, manometer, Magnahelic, C/O detector, psychrometer, micron gauge.

Responsibilities

• Install/replace HVAC equipment including ductwork, attic or vertical splits, rooftop units.
• Maintain vehicle, stock, tools, and safety equipment.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with dispatch on schedules.
• Design duct systems for comfort and efficiency; upsell when appropriate.
• Mentor apprentices and entry-level installers; coach on site.
