Job summary

MID-FLA Heating & Air in Gainesville, FL is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our team. You will lead installations, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure systems operate efficiently for customers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of installation experience, strong technical knowledge, and a customer‑centric approach. As the Lead Installer, you will interpret schematics, install equipment per specs, and troubleshoot issues on-site while training junior staff.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of installing HVAC systems.
Valid Driver’s License.
Experience in residential and light commercial HVAC installations.

Responsibilities

Install new or replacement HVAC equipment and provide excellent customer service to residential and commercial customers.
Interpret construction drawings, schematics, and cut sheets in the field.
Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and provide effective solutions.
Train installation assistants/helpers to work independently for efficiency.
